Residential House Lift: Point Pleasant Beach, NJ
Originally designed by our firm and built in 1995 to A-zone standards, this beachfront home was damaged by Superstorm Sandy in 2012. The home owner wanted to raise the home on pilings and make it conform to V-zone standards. There was enough room on the property to move the house, drive the pilings, and relocate the house on the pilings. Elevating it a full story above grade allowed covered parking below the house.
Residential House Lift: Brick, NJ
Superstorm Sandy damaged the house, but the Owners wanted to keep it and elevate it a full floor, making it well above the required floor zone. The space that was formerly the garage became the new master suite, making the house a 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom vacation home. Elevating the existing deck allowed a covered area in the back yard for relief from the sun in the summer. An outside shower and pool complete the amenities.
Residential House Lift: Mantoloking, NJ
This house right on the bay in Mantoloking suffered Sandy damage. To prevent damage from future storms, the house was lifted according to the new flood codes.
